Commitment & Areas

The Commitment section describes your promise to customers. The Service Areas section highlights the cities and regions you serve. Both appear near the bottom of the About page.

Where to Find It

1. Log in to Directus.
2. Click Content in the left sidebar.
3. Click about (for English) or about_es (for Spanish).
4. Scroll down to find the Commitment Section and Areas Section fields.

Commitment Section Fields

Field	What it does
commitment_title	The heading for the Commitment section
commitment_description	The full commitment statement — supports markdown formatting

Step-by-Step: Editing the Commitment Section

1. Open about (or about_es).
2. Click the commitment_title field and update the heading.
3. Click the commitment_description field and update the text.
4. Click Save.

Tip

The commitment_description field supports markdown. You can use bold text, bullet points, and paragraph breaks to make it easier to read. See the Formatting Guide.

Service Areas Section Fields

Field	What it does
areas_title	The heading for the Service Areas section (e.g., “Where We Serve”)
areas_intro	The intro paragraph before the city list
areas_outro	The closing paragraph after the city list
areas_img	The photo displayed in this section (e.g., a map or regional photo)

Step-by-Step: Editing the Service Areas Section

1. Open about (or about_es).
2. Click the areas_title field and update the heading.
3. Click the areas_intro field and update the intro paragraph.
4. Click the areas_outro field and update the closing paragraph.
5. To update the photo, click areas_img and upload a new image.
6. Click Save.

The actual list of cities shown in this section comes from the settings collection (cities field), not from this page. To add or remove a city from the list, see Contact Info & Hours.
